Recall Information

What Does the Recall Mean?

Fiat Chrysler has issued a recall and has offered to buy back hundreds of thousands of Ram pickup trucks from customers. The Ram pickups have been recalled for having defective steering parts that can cause the driver to lose control. Older Jeep models have fuel tanks located behind the rear axle, with little to shield them in a rear crash. This recall has not been issued on recent Ram models. If you are a Ram or Jeep owner and feel your vehicle is affected by this recall, we encourage you to reach out to our dealership for additional details.

What You Need to Know:

Owners with the Jeep recall may in lieu of having the recall repairs performed, trade in the vehicle, and receive a trade-in incentive of $1,000 over the fair-market value of the vehicle, the combined total of which will be credited toward the purchase of another FCA US vehicle or FCA US parts or service. This offer will be extended to current owners, regardless of position of ownership (including second owner, third owner, etc.). The details of the recall completion incentive and trade assist offers will be defined in the coming weeks, and all customers whose vehicles are included in these populations will be contacted in the next 30 days.

Ram owners who haven’t had their vehicles remedied will have the option of having the recall repair performed or have their vehicle repurchased. This offer will be extended to current owners, regardless of position of ownership (including second owner, third owner, etc.). The offer will not include any allowance for modifications or upgrades made to the vehicle, (i.e. tow bed, lift/winch kit, etc.)The details of the repurchase of these vehicles will be defined in the coming weeks, and all customers whose vehicles are included in these populations will be contacted by mail in the next 60 days.

Customers involved in upcoming Customer Service Notification (CSN) campaign, will be contacted by mail with next steps in mid-September. At this time, no action is required by owners in this population.
